In the homogenous sea of long-limbed, translucent-skinned beauties lounging, chain-smoking backstage, Iekeliene Stange transfixes your focus, seemingly without effort. Although the oversized plastic frames and ballerina dresses probably have something to do with it.  Scouted in 2004, while still a multimedia design student in Holland, the 24-year old model has since shot for British, Italian, and French Vogue and walked the catwalks for Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and Christian Dior. Off the runways, she piles on gold leggings, mini dresses, patchwork jackets, and $2 flee market finds, creating a kaleidoscope-colored hodgepodge: part nerd, part prepster, part punky princess and wholly enchanting.
