| As Senior Accessories Director at Teen Vogue and rumored muse to Ruffian’s Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, Taylor Tomasi is a bona fide fashion juggernaut. It helps that her beauty evokes the delicate subjects favoured by the pre-Raphaelite artists. But the russet hair and alabaster skin act merely as a glowing canvas to offset the architectural, often austere, fashions she relishes: Proenza Schouler heels, Rick Owens separates, waistcoats of any kind. It’s this aptitude to marry old/new, soft/hard, masculine/feminine that’s prompted other editors to take note. And in an industry rife with admittedly self-absorbed, self-proclaimed bellwethers, it’s a telltale mark of incisiveness.
